If you did not sign up for
an event or activity at the last club meeting and EVERY MONDAY at 6:30 PM –
WALK THE BEACH:
Meet at First Christian Church parking lot where
Seagate (20th Street in North Jacksonville Beach) meets the
Ocean. Dogs on leashes are allowed and clean up afterwards is
expected. We will be looking for birds and anything else not
human. EVERY TUESDAY at 5:45 PM - WALK THE DOWNTOWN BRIDGES: Meet at the Chart House restaurant parking lot to be ready to walk a bridge loop at 5:45pm. There is no need to call in advance. Leader: Judy M 398-2750 (Home) |

Sept. 17th, Saturday, 8:00 p.m. MOONLIGHT PADDLE: Earline will
be leading a paddle on one of Jacksonville’s beautiful rivers in the
(almost) full moon. These are fun and different trips so plan on joining us.

Earline V. 998-4244 h 614-8629 c October 1st, Saturday, 8:00 am - PADDLE ON OKLAWAHA RIVER: We will canoe or kayak the river south of Rodman Dam. Meet at the McDonalds on Hwy 17 across from the dog track. Leader: John T. 910-9417. October 15th, Saturday - OPEN October 16th, Sunday, 6:00 pm. – NIGHT HIKE AND BIKE AT HANNA PARK: We will bike or walk under a full moon. Bring your own bike. Bike lights are required and any bike is fine for the ride. We will meet at the end of Atlantic Blvd. Leader: Richard B. 249-2714. October 20th through 23rd - ANNUAL LEAF LOOKING CAMPING TRIP: This year we are going to Table Rock State Park in Pickens, S.C. on the South Carolina/Georgia border. We will be hiking to see all the colors of the fall leaves and the great views, camping and exploring this state park and others in the area. Bring your boots, camping gear and meals. To make reservations call 1-866-345-PARK. Check with the leader for information on sites already reserved if you want to stay near the rest of the group or someone may have canceled. October 29th, Saturday, 7:00 pm. - HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY AND DANCE: We will have a Traditional Halloween Party and Pot Luck dinner. Costumes are encouraged. Prizes will be given for the best ghost story. Wear shoes you can dance in. October 31st Monday, 6:30 pm. - MONSTER WALK: We will walk on the new sidewalk along the side of the St. Johns River to the Landing. Costume is optional. We will meet at the parking lot beneath the Fuller Warren bridge and Riverside Ave. Leader: John T. 910-9417. November 2nd, Wednesday 6:30 pm, MONTHLY MEETING: We will be back at the Southeast Branch of the Regional Public Library at Gate Parkway off of J. Turner Butler Blvd. and at a new time. If you would like to have dinner before the meeting, join us at Bono's BBQ from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. If you would like something after the meeting, we will be getting together at TGI Friday's in Tinseltown for coffee, dessert, and great conversation. November 6th,
