New Year's Eve at Camp Chowenwaw

We had a wonderful time. We didn't sleep in tents, rather we were in cabins. Diane J brought a very tasty ham and everyone brought a dish to go with it. All of the food was very good. Gene and Earl brought their guitars and serenaded us for a while. We shot off some fireworks earlier in the evening - then walked to the dock to bring in the new year. It was a bit chilly there because the wind was blowing, so we didn't stay long. Shot off a few more fireworks to finish the evening. The last few pictures are of me, Gene and Kathy B trying to open her bottle of wine. It was very stubborn. Most everyone got up EARLY and left. I was expecting to sit around the campfire in the morning. But that's what I get for sleeping in. =;^) It was a wonderful way to bring in a new year with friends. --Earline
