OCTOBER, 2004
SIDETRACKERS WENT CRUISING!
Thursday, October 28th through Monday, November 1st.
| This exciting
seafaring adventure set sail from Port Jacksonville at 4:00 PM on
Thursday, October 28. We landed the next day at noon in Freeport, Bahamas,
where we had our our choice of kayaking, snorkeling, or touring the Garden
of the Groves. That night at 7:00 PM, we set sail for Nassau, Bahamas,
where we landed on Saturday at 7:00 AM and were in port till midnight. In
Nassau, we snorkeled at Paradise Island, went on a snorkeling Safari and
Treasure Hunt at Pearl Island, or toured the Ardastra Gardens. Sunday at sea,
we had a ping-pong tournament on the outdoor Sports Deck that morning, then
played water volleyball that afternoon. That evening, we enjoyed Halloween
festivities aboard the Celebration, our Carnival Cruise Lines sailing ship.
Monday morning at 8:00, we docked back in Jacksonville. Thanks to GinaMaria for organizing and leading this trip. |

July 2001

The Sidetrackers gang took a wagon
train and horses around
the Bridger/Teton Wilderness in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for 6 days.
The wagon train and horseback portion of the trip went from July 16
to July 21st, 2001. Afterwards, most of us broke into smaller
groups for spur-of-the-moment
side trips for several more days.
We're still talking about how much
fun we had on this adventure!
